Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has given Ross Turnbull a vote of confidence after handing the goalkeeper a Premier League debut in the Blues' 4-1 victory over West Ham.
Ancelotti picked Turnbull in the starting line-up after injuries to Chelsea's two first-choice goalkeepers Petr Cech and Henrique Hilario.
Speaking after the game, the Chelsea boss said: "He did well, he played with confidence and good personality and he is a good goalkeeper. I think he will be in goal on Tuesday (against Inter Milan), we have confidence in him."
It has almost become a Chelsea tradition that when the first-choice keeper is injured, the second-choice player also picks up an injury. Ancelotti will be hoping that this habit won't damage his side's chances of overturning a 2-1 deficit in their last 16 Champions League second leg against Milan next week.
