The Sugababes have reportedly gone through another lineup change with Amelle Berrabah leaving the group and Jade Ewen joining.
The shock claims comes after Berrabah reportedly went missing 'for days' following an argument with founder member Keisha Buchanan.
"I've been told off the record that Jade is joining the Sugababes," an inside source was quoted by the Sun as saying.
The girl group's record label Island said they had "no comment" on the rumours, adding to the speculation that Berrabah - who become the only former or current Sugababe to have a solo number one when she featured on Tinchy Stryder's chart-topper Never Leave You in August - had indeed left the band.
Berrabah replaced Mutya Buena in the girl group in December 2005 but has now allegedly become the latest ex-Sugababe, with Jade Ewen, Britain's 2009 representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, reportedly replacing her.
The news was broken by the heatworld website, which published a statement from Ewen's record label Geffen saying: "Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you that Jade Ewen will be taking time off from all promotional activity for the foreseeable future."
Her solo single My Man was due to be released on September 21st.
Berrabah's departure leaves Buchanan as the only Sugababe to have been in the group since its inception, with Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena both having left the group, with Heidi Range replacing the former in 2001.
