Non-league Aldershot set up a tie with League One side Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup as the beat Basingstoke 3-1 in their second round replay tonight.

Neville Roach put Basingstoke in the lead after four minutes as he volleyed in Matt Warner's left-wing cross.

After that it was Louie Soares who grabbed the headlines, scoring twice for the visitors.

Soares volleyed in his first after 14 minutes before turning in a corner on the half hour to give Aldershot a half-time lead. Darren Barnard put the tie beyond doubt after 50 minutes with a curling effort.

Doncaster beat Mansfield 2-0 to set up a meeting with Premiership side Bolton. Mark McCammon and Paul Heffernan were on target either side of half-time against the team currently 92nd of the 92 teams in English League football.

Millwall needed extra time to dispatch Bradford 1-0 after Nathan Doyle's own goal broke the deadlock in the 114th minute.

Doyle had earlier hit the bar from 30 yards out for the visitors and was the instigator of most of Bradford's attacking play but was unlucky to put through his own net just six minutes from time.

Bury came from behind to beat Chester 3-1 away from home. Laurence Wilson opened the scoring for Chester after just three minutes but they failed to add to this, despite opportunities in the first half.

Bury then levelled before half-time through Andy Bishop's header. Glynn Hurst was on target just after the break and Dwayne Mattis secured the victory after 54 minutes.
