Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been ruled out for three weeks as a result of the ankle injury he sustained against Stoke City last Saturday.
The Togo international was tackled by Potters defender Ryan Shawcross during the Gunners' 2-1 defeat at the Britannia Stadium.
And, as a result, he will be ruled out for the majority of November - meaning he could miss a number of key games including Premier League fixtures against Manchester United, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Chelsea.
There was better news on winger Theo Walcott, however.
The England youngster fell awkwardly on his shoulder and was stretchered off against Stoke.
But scans have revealed no major damage to the joint and while he will miss tonight's Champions League group match against Fenerbahce he is likely to return for this weekend's game against Manchester United.
