Emmanuel Adebayor grabbed the winner as Arsenal came from two goals behind to beat Ajax 3-2 in the Amsterdam tournament.
The Gunners looked to be heading for an embarrassing defeat when Luis Suarez and Klaas Jan-Huntelaar put the Dutch giants 2-0 ahead after 36 minutes.
Adebayor, who committed his future to Arsenal last month, began the comeback with a goal on 67 minutes.
His striker partner Niklas Bendtner made it 2-2 eight minutes later, with Adebayor completing the comeback with the winner seven minutes from time.
In the other game, Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan were held to a 0-0 draw with Sevilla.
Elsewhere, Liverpool beat Lazio 1-0 in a friendly at Anfield thanks to a last-minute winner from substitute Andriy Voronin.
Summer signings Robbie Keane and Andrea Dossena both made their home debuts for the Reds.
Middlesbrough produced the best result of the night after thumping Sparta Rotterdam 6-1 at the Het Kasteel stadium.
Arnold Slot pounced on some poor defending to open the scoring for the hosts in the second minute, but Brazilian striker Afonso Alves levelled minutes later.
Jeremie Aliadiere put Boro ahead in the eighth minute while Josh Walker added a third five minutes later.
It was 4-1 after 15 minutes when Alves bagged his second with stand-in captain Stewart Downing, captain for the day, making it five with a pinpoint finish.
The second-half was a less frenetic affair but Wales Under-21 defender Rhys Williams sealed the rout with a sensational long-range strike.
