Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has appeared on television wearing an Arsenal shirt while taking part in his first official interview since the Togo bus attack last week.
Adebayor, who left the Gunners for Eastlands last summer, was speaking to an African TV station about the fatal incident on the way to the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, which resulted in the deaths of three people.
However, the Togo captain is sure to make headlines in England for his appearance in a polo shirt branded with the badge of his former club.
Since leaving the Emirates Stadium, Adebayor has played and scored against his former club - which resulted in a controversial celebration in front of the away fans in his new team's 4-2 win earlier this season.
Adebayor also courted controversy after apparently stamping on former team-mate Robin van Persie in the same game - offences which led to a six-match suspension.
It has been suggested that the striker's antics were caused in part by the racial slurs and obscene songs sung by the Gunners supporters inside the stadium on the day.
Adebayor is still in Togo for a period of official mourning for those who lost their lives in the bus shooting.
He is expected to return to England later this week, although City boss Roberto Mancini has confirmed he will not rush the 25-year-old back into action.
