Actress Minnie Driver has confirmed she is pregnant in a televised interview but would not reveal the name of the father.
The Good Will Hunting star announced she is pregnant with her first child on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Leno joked that she appeared to have gained weight.
"Are you calling me fat? You've noticed my tummy, haven't you?" Driver said.
"Are you pregnant?" Leno replied.
"Yes, I am," she said.
Leno also asked if he might know the father, but Driver, 38, said she did not think so.
"I figure, I'm the public person, and he can stay private," Driver said.
The actress, who currently stars in US show The Riches opposite Eddie Izzard, also revealed she is hoping for a girl on the Ellen DeGeneres show, which is scheduled to air next week.
She said: "I have a pretty silly name. Driver is kind of a hard name to put with a first name, particularly boys names.
"My friend sent me an email saying I should call the baby Duncan Driver. Then I can call it Dunk Driver, Pile Driver, Rally Driver."
"I'm hoping for a girl. I think it's a girl," she added.
