AC Milan progressed to the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Bayern had started the game as favourites after scoring two away goals at the San Siro in the first leg, which finished 2-2.
However goals from Clarence Seedorf and Filippo Inzaghi sealed the quarter-final for the Italian side who will face Manchester United in the next round.
Bayern started the game well and were unlucky not have taken the lead when Christian Lell had an effort cleared off the line by Massimo Oddo, before Lukas Podolski forced Dida into action in the Milan goal.
This seemed to shock the Italian side into action and Seedorf broke the deadlock on 27 minutes - rifling a shot past Bayern's Oliver Kahn.
The Dutchman received the ball on the edge of the area, created himself some space, and although Daniel van Buyten tried to get a block he arrived too late.
Five minutes later Seedorf turned creator to set up Inzaghi.
The midfielder played a superbly-weighted ball through to Inzaghi who gathered it in stride before smashing it in to the top corner.
Milan defended with typical gusto in the second half stifling any hint of an attack from the home side, who were largely restricted to shots from distance.
Dida was able to deny Mark Van Bommel and Roque Santa Cruz towards the end of the game as Milan held on for victory.
