Aberdeen's chances of reaching Uefa Cup knockout stages are still alive following victories for Athletico Madrid and Panathinaikos.
Athletico Madrid qualified for the knockout stages of the Uefa Cup with a comfortable 2-0 win away to FC Copenhagen.
Simao Sabrosa and Sergio Aguero scored for the Spanish side who are second in the group after Panathinaikos beat Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 to go top.
Sabrosa opened the scoring for Athletico in the 21st minute, playing a neat one-two with Aguero which opened up the Danish side's defence.
Aguero got himself on the scoresheet in the second half when he ghosted past goalkeeper Jesper Christiansen and tapped home.
The two results mean that Aberdeen still have a chance to reach the knockout stages of the competition.
Lokomotiv's chances ended with their defeat tonight and the Dons will go through if they can beat Copenhagen at Pittodrie on December 20th.
Elsewhere, in group C Villareal ensured their progress with a 2-0 win over IF Elfsborg. Former Newcastle striker Jon Dahl Tomasson scored both goals for the Spanish side.
In group D Hamburg and Basle both won to book their places in the knockout stages. Basle beat SK Brann 1-0 at home while Hamburg beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 thanks to two goals in the final two minutes.
Zagreb must now win their final match if they are to qualify having taken just one point from their opening three fixtures.
