Huddersfield Giants warmed up for the Super League play-offs with a thumping 48-16 win over Wigan Warriors.

The Giants dominated as they racked up eight tries with Leroy Cudjoe helping himself to a hat-trick.

The home side led 18-10 at the break through tries from Brett Hodgson, David Hodgson and Shaun Lunt with Hodgson kicking all three conversions.

Huddersfield ran away with it in the second half adding five tries through from Lunt, three from Cudjoe and Paul Whatuira.

Hodgson kept a 100 per cent record with the boot kicking all eight of his conversions.

The Warriors were never in the game but did get on the score sheet with tries from Mark Flanagan, Pat Richards and Joel

Tomkins. Richards added two conversions.

Elsewhere, Harlequins' ended the season on a low after being beaten 44-34 away to Warrington Wolves.

Quins did lead 16-14 at the break thanks to two Luke Dorn tries and a score from Tony Clubb, with Kevin Penny, Ben Westwood and Lee Briers replying for the Wolves.

In the second period a further score from Perry as well as tries from Matthew Blythe, Alex Thompson, Mick Higham and Tyrone McCarthy plus six conversions from Chris Bridge saw Wolves home.

Quins battled hard but Dorn's hat-trick try plus Jamie O'Callaghan and Matthew Gafa scores weren't enough to stop an 11 match losing streak.

Castleford Tigers survived a scare from bottom side Celtic Crusaders but eventually picked up a 35-22 victory.

Crusaders led 14-16 at half-time through Lloyd White and two Lincoln Withers scores with Tigers' scores coming from Kirk Dixon, Mitchell Sargent and Michael Wainwright.

Two Michael Shenton tries and one each from Richard Owen and Craig Huby killed off the Crusaders challenge whose second half score came from Ryan O'Hara.

Two conversions from Dixon, one from Joe Westerman and a Brent Sherwin drop goal completed Castleford's scoring with Steve

Tyrer kicking three conversions for the Crusaders.
