Are you one of the millions of Twihards who've eagerly devoured the new trailer for Twilight Eclipse? Read on for a closer look with inthenews.co.uk's frame-by-frame guide.

Frame one, and we're back in Forks, Washington, as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) faces a big decision.

But not after a nice lie-down in a bluebell field, as the vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) promises to love her "every moment, forever."

Maybe everything's going to be alright for Bella and Edward! Here they stand romantically entwined in their favourite bluebell field (other flower-strewn meadows are also available).

But wait! The Volturi - the equivalent of vampire royalty - are back, as we're reminded that Bella's "still human".

"The Volturi don't give second chances," warns Jane (Dakota Fanning) - she might look harmless but the diminutive bloodsucker can create illusions of pain - with her mind!

Unsurprisingly, Bella and Edward look a bit perturbed. Edward, meanwhile, is wearing coloured contact lenses.. Of course he isn't, he's a vampire, you fools!

"Why are you so against me becoming like you?" Bella asks Edward, a reminder of her avowal to join him as a vampire.

"I know the consequences of the choice you're making," he warns, as Bella's dad Charlie (Billy Burke) looks unsurprisingly crestfallen at the prospect of losing his daughter to the ranks of the fanged.

"After a few decades, everyone we know will be dead", Edward adds, making this whole marriage idea look a bit hasty as Bella confirms her decision to best friend Julie (Anna Kendrick).

But will she go through with it? Werewolf-cum-Native-American Jacob (Taylor Lautner) points out the benefits of a relationship with his furry people - "You wouldn't have to change for me Bella."

"I'm in love with you and I want you to pick me instead of him," adds the frequently shirtless one. As the legend states, Bella's got quite a dilemma to solve.

If the love triangle wasn't enough, there's a vengeful vampire to deal with, as Bella's voiceover sighs "Edward, she found us" as he readies himself for battle. But who's "she"?

Something that can fly! But who could it be?

Oh no, that's bad news. It's Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard), still on Edward's trail after he killed her lover James (Cam Gigandet) in the first film in the saga. You'll notice she looks a little different too, after Howard replaced Victoria Lefevre.

With a feisty red-headed bloodsucker after her beau Bella's right to look worried.

Edward's up for the fight though, pledging to Bella "I'll protect you, no matter what".

Edward could be facing a scrap with Jacob as well as Victoria, though Bella attempts to warn the lupine one off, saying: "You don't know what you're getting yourself into".

It would appear Jacob's got a rough idea and he's ripped his shirt off faster than you can say "frightening abs".

"I'm gonna fight for you - 'til your heart stops beating," Jacob insists as the title screen is unveiled.
