As police admit they still do not have a prime suspect in the hunt for the killer of five women in Suffolk, we take a look at the series of events which has led to the county's biggest-ever investigation.
October 30th - 19-year-old prostitute Tania Nicol leaves for work in Ipswich's red light district
November 1st - Ms Nicol is reported as missing
November 15th - Another Ipswich prostitute, 25-year-old Gemma Adams, is reported missing
December 2nd - Police find Ms Adams' body in water at Thorpes Hill, Hintlesham, on the outskirts of Ipswich
December 8th - A second body is found, that of Ms Nicol, in a stream near Copdock Mill - the same stretch of water as Ms Adams' remains were recovered
December 10th - A third body is found in woodland in the village of Nacton, later revealed to be that of 24-year-old Colchester prostitute Anneli Alderton
December 11th - Police reveal that two other prostitutes are missing - 24-year-old Paula Clennell and 29-year-old Annette Nicholls
December 12th - Two naked female bodies are found in woodland near the village of Levington, near to where Ms Nichols was found. Police believe they are the remains of the two missing women
December 13th - Police forensic experts continue to examine the scene. One body is removed
December 14th - Detectives reveal that one of the women found dead in Levington died from compression to the neck
