Participants on the Sci-Fi Channel's Who Wants to be a Superhero (WWTBAS) have one aim, to help the citizens of the world.

This bunch of contestants were selected by Stan Lee to participate in an American Idol style programme which aims to find the ultimate superhero who will then be immortalised in a comic book and star in a Sci-Fi Channel movie.

They all have their own special powers to help fellow citizens and they take their jobs very seriously. Not all superheroes are as lucky as Spider-man. These brave few would give anything for a decent patch to work, a cool suit and movie opportunities thrown in.

InTheNews caught up with Major Victory, a contestant on the show, and his full pant-snapping interview can be read here.

If this whets you appetite for Major Victory action, check out the man himself helping citizens on the streets in this short film.

Tune into the Sci-Fi Channel at 23:00 BST on Mondays to see the superheroes in action and at 22:50 for the sixth and last episode.
