Richard Dawkins on The Genius of Charles Darwin
Not content with upsetting Christians the world over with his bestseller The God Delusion, Richard Dawkins twists the knife a little further with new series The Genius of Charles Darwin.
Some 150 years after the publication of On the Origin of Species, Dawkins presents a three-part guide to Darwin, encountering teenagers already convinced of the merits of creationism as he bids to champion a story "far more wonderful and far more moving than any religious story of creation".
Take a look below as Britain's foremost evolutionary biologist lucidly brings to life the history and ideas of his hero and his great work.
The Genius of Charles Darwin begins on Monday August 4th at 20:00 on Channel 4:
