Gordon Ramsay's F Word returns to Channel 4
Gordon Ramsay, Prince Philip and Alan Sugar – just some of the faces gracing our television screens in this week's TV highlights.
On Monday, Trevor McDonald spins an intimate portrayal of the Queen's husband in The Duke: A Portrait of Prince Philip.
The ITV1 documentary, which airs at 21:00, is the first of two programmes aimed at showing the at-times controversial Duke in a softer light.
The 86-year-old royal's recent health scares and his 60-year marriage to the Queen are up for discussion in the film, which blends archive footage and new material.
Gordon Ramsay returns to our TV screens after a brief sojourn in the new series of Gordon Ramsay's F Word on Tuesday at 21:00.
Wendi Peters, best known for playing Coronation Street harridan Cilla, and Gavin and Stacey actor James Corden are the foul-mouthed chef's guests, while Spice Girl Geri Halliwell claims her Spanish meatballs put Ramsay's to shame.
The Apprentice continues on BBC1 on Wednesday at 21:00. In this week's episode Sir Alan Sugar tasks the candidates with selling wedding dresses at Birmingham's NEC.
Sensitivity has not been a trait associated with this year's contestants, so will they be able to adapt their hard-selling techniques to cater for a bride-to-be's big day?
Thursday sees the conclusion of Five's I Own Britain's Best Home 2008.
At 20:00 the owners of the eight properties to make it to the grand final will find out who has won the right to rename their home as Britain's best... as well as the small matter of a £25,000 prize.
On Friday fans of Britain's oldest football competition can look forward to A Question of Sport: FA Cup Final Special on BBC1 at 20:30, with former winners Steve Perryman, Dave Beasant, Ray Parlour and Michael Thomas joining captains Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson.
Two hours later Chris Tarrant hosts a celebration of the life of one of TV's greatest pranksters in An Audience Without Jeremy Beadle.
And the TV week is rounded off on Saturday with the latest blockbusting Doctor Who episode on BBC1 at 19:00, enigmatically titled The Unicorn and the Wasp.
