We check out this week's TV highlights, including It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Brothers and Sisters, Californication and 30 Rock.

Former CIA agent Robert Baer concludes his fascinating series Cult of the Suicide Bomber at 20:00 on Channel 4 tonight, with an interview of two failed suicide bombers in Afghanistan, both of whom are just 17 years old, while the troubling issue of child trafficking is explored in China's Stolen Children at 21:00 on the same channel.

Channel 4's 25th anniversary celebrations continue on More 4 tonight, with Without Walls: An Interview with Dennis Potter (23:00) a chance to see one of this country's literary greats in full flow for the final times, espousing on everything from British TV to his misgivings about the Sun, just prior to his death in 1994. And Virgin 1 continues its commitment to the best in US TV at 23:10 with superb comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Vincent Gallo's quirky debut Buffalo 66 gets a deserved run out on Five Life this Tuesday 21:00, and Five do what they do best with a good ol' fashioned conspiracy documentary in The Plot to Kill JFK: The Cuban Connection Revealed.

Superhuman: Giants (ITV1, 21:00) promises a poignant look at the lives of the world's tallest people and ONE Life: Above Enemy Lines (BBC1, 22:35) follows the RAF's squadron around the war-torn Helmand Province in Afghanistan.

The brilliance of seeing George Takei as Hiro Nakamura's father in Heroes endures at 21:00 on BBC2 this Wednesday, while Brothers and Sisters finishes an impressive (if a bit melodramatic) run.

And for a dose of the literary, More 4 presents Tony Harrison's V at 22:45, an historic poem examining Britain's fractured 1980s society.

Yet again, Thursday is the night to stay in, with a raft of unmissable shows. Five make a bid for respectability with a great double-bill of US comedy, kicking off with the David Duchovny-starring Californication at 22:00, before the Emmy-winning comedy 30 Rock at 22:45.

Jennifer Saunders' beautifully observed The Life and Times of Vivian Vyle (For clips, click here) hits BBC2 at 21:00, while The Peter Serafinowicz Show offers more top-notch impersonations at 21:30.

ITV1's grade A drama The Whistleblowers continues at 21:00 and Channel 4 offers the fantastically-odd chance to hear Jayne Middlemiss spout claptrap about inner wellness in The Beginner's Guide to Yoga at 23:00.

And there's also Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip on More 4 at 22:00, with Matt (Matthew Perry) tossing dignity aside this week, in a bid to win an online auction for a date with Harriet (Sarah Paulson).

Have I Got News For You returns at 21:00 on Friday (BBC1), with master of the surreal Ross Noble on presenting duties, while bodices are strewn with abandon in The Tudors (BBC2, 21:00) and Peep Show's Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain script an excellent instalment of Comedy Showcase on Channel 4 at 22:30 - imagine Thirtysomething transported to 1865.

And it's the girls' turn this Saturday in the strangely-enticing Strictly Come Dancing (18:15) - can Gabby overcome her nerves? Will Kate recover from her injury? Just why am I already transfixed?

(Let's be honest - it's the Rugby World Cup semi-final on Saturday night; the TV options don't really matter.)

Still, there's the exuberance of Moulin Rouge! on Channel 4 at 21:00, while More 4 present a classic episode of The Crystal Maze at 21:00, with its rightful host Richard O'Brien on presenting duties, rather than pretender-to-the-throne Ed Tudor-Pole.
