Saffia Corden has left the Big Brother 10 house after just eight days on the Channel 4 reality show.

The 27-year-old's goodbye and her reasons for leaving will be shown in Friday night's highlights during the live eviction show on Channel 4.

However, it is believed beauty consultant Saffia was missing her seven-year-old daughter and 13-month-old son and was eager to return home to Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

She had been criticised by children's charity Kidscape for being "selfish" in leaving her children with their grandmother while appearing in the Big Brother house.

Saffia also clashed with fellow contestant Sophia Brown and was unhappy when her flirting with Kris Donnelly fizzled out as the visual merchandiser transferred his attention to glamour model Sophie Reade.

Saffia's walk-out will not affect Friday night's eviction vote between Freddie George Fisher or Sophia.
