Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl has celebrated a seventh week at the top of the US singles chart.

The 23-year-old, who is expected to achieve her first UK number one single this weekend, has held the top position in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for almost two months.

The rest of the top five is dominated by one of the music world's glamour couples, with Chris Brown rising one place to second with Forever while his girlfriend Rihanna holds third and fourth.

Coldplay's Viva La Vida remains in fifth while the only new entry in the top ten is the Jonas Brothers' Tonight.

Country duo Sugarland had achieved their highest-ever chart position in debuting at number two in the Billboard Hot 200 last week but have now surpassed themselves, unseating Miley Cyrus from the number one spot.
