Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been admitted to a private London facility having suffered a reaction to medication she was taking.
Her spokesman said she was taken in for treatment after falling ill on Sunday.
"Some part of her medication is making her sick," spokesman Chris Goodman explained.
The medication was "part of her ongoing treatment", he added.
The Grammy winner missed her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's court appearance on Monday.
Fielder-Civil, 26, lost his appeal against his 27-month sentence for assault and perverting the course of justice.
He was arrested last November in connection with a "vicious" attack upon an east London pub landlord in the summer of 2006.
Following the attack Fielder-Civil and his friend Michael Brown, along with Anthony Kelly and James Kennedy, tried to bribe James King with £200,000 and the promise of a holiday in Spain if he stopped the case from going to court.
Two judges heard Fielder-Civil's case in the court of appeal on Monday morning and rejected the former television runner's attempt to have his sentence reduced.
His wife's latest hospital visit follows a string of medical problems in 2008.
She was hospitalised in June to receive treatment for traces of the chronic lung disease emphysema after collapsing at her London home.
In July, Winehouse was admitted to the University College hospital in London after again collapsing due to a reaction to medication.
And in August she withdrew from a Parisian music festival when fell ill at home.
She is said to be working on a follow-up to her smash hit 2006 album Back to Black.
