Paris Hilton's search for a new best friend is one of the highlights of ITV2's autumn schedule, it has been revealed.
The American socialite's quest to find a BFF (Best Friend Forever) in London will be seen on Paris Hilton’s New Best Friend, a UK television exclusive which will see hopefuls put through tests of "loyalty, endurance and girl politics".
"Everyone knows I love LA but London, watch out – I’m coming to town and bringing my fast-paced life with me," Hilton, 27, said.
"I'm in the UK all the time, but of course I can’t bring all my friends, so I’ve decided to look for a new BFF across the pond.
"I need a best friend who is hot, who can keep up with me, and most of all, who is real and won't be a backstabber. I’m not leaving London until I find that amazing girl or guy who can meet the challenges of being my British bestie."
The ITV2 autumn schedule also includes the return of Billie Piper in a new series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, while WAG and model Abigail Clancy will join forces with George Lamb and Michelle de Swarte for The Fashion Show.
Katy Brand's Big Ass Show will return while Leigh Francis - creator of Avid Merrion and Keith Lemon - will feature in new panel show Celebrity Juice.
ITV2 controller Zai Bennett commented: "This autumn on ITV2 we're launching a stellar line up of programmes with some of the best talent on British television.
"This autumn is our strongest season ever and will absolutely consolidate ITV2's position as the number one digital channel in the UK."
