Mutya dishes the dirt on Sugababes
Mutya Buena has revealed what it was really like to be a Sugababe.
After speculation that the chart-topping group did not get on as well as they would have everyone believe, Mutya admitted that the three girls did fight, but only as much as any other teenagers would have done.
"We fought like sisters," the 21-year-old, who quit the group last year to go solo, said.
"We were a bunch of teenagers growing up together, what do you expect? We'd steal each other's clothes, make-up, you name it, just before we went on stage. We got p***** off with each other if we never got them back."
Although Mutya has been busy since going solo, she admitted that she misses her former bandmates, Heidi and Keisha.
The Mirror quotes her as saying: "I don't regret leaving, but I really miss Keisha and Heidi and the girlie chats we had."
Going it alone seems to have been a wise move for Mutya. Part of her solo career to date has included a collaboration with legendary singer George Michael.
"Working with George Michael was the best thing that's happened since going solo," she said.
"I was star-struck after collaborating with him but he was so lovely. He invited me to his house party but I couldn't go because my dog went missing that day."
Mutya's first solo album is due out next year.
