Pete Doherty may be about to become a father for the second time
Kate Moss is pregnant with lover Pete Doherty's child, according to the singer's uncle.
Phil Michels told the Sunday Mirror that the couple, who plan to marry next year, are "overjoyed" at the news.
He said that he had spoken to his 27-year-old nephew twice and he had confirmed that Kate, 32, was pregnant.
"They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited. That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage.
"I am made up for them. I wish them every success. They're so happy, they love each other. I can't wait for the wedding - we are just waiting for a date," Pete's uncle told the tabloid.
The Babyshambles singer is currently on tour in Italy with his group, and his supermodel girlfriend has been keeping him company.
An official announcement on the baby is expected this month.
Kate already has a four-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, with publisher Jefferson Hack, while Pete and ex-partner Lisa Moorish have a three-year-old son, Estile.
