X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is number one for a third week running with her debut single Hallelujah.

The winner's single held off Leona Lewis' Run from the top spot and a challenge by New Yorker Lady Gaga, whose Just Dance was the highest new entry at number three in the charts.

Meanwhile the other version of Hallelujah in the charts by Jeff Buckley, which entered at number two in the Christmas singles chart, slipped from seven down to 22.

The top five was rounded off by Beyonce's If I Were A Boy at four and Broken Strings, the collaboration from James Morrison and Nelly Furtado.

In the album charts Take That remained number one with The Circus, ahead of twp climbers.

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon was up a place at two while Rockferry by Duffy was up three to number three.

Lewis' Spirit slipped to four while the girl band of Burke's X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole, Girls Aloud, re-entered the charts at six with their Sound Of greatest hits compilation.

Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow narrowly missed out on a re-entry of their own into the top ten, with The Seldom Seen Kid returning to the charts at number 11.
