Amy Whinehouse will not face charges say police
Singer Amy Winehouse will not face charges over a video that allegedly showed her smoking a crack pipe, police have said.

She was interviewed under caution by police in east London after the footage was posted online in January.

"The Crown Prosecution Service has now reviewed the case and no further action is being taken," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.

"Amy is pleased to be able to move on," her spokesman said.

"She particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly-awaited festival performances this summer."

Winehouse, 24, was arrested at Limehouse police station on May 7th in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug, police said.

She had been bailed to return later this month, but the matter has now been closed.

The video, posted online by the Sun newspaper, was said to have been filmed at her home.End of story
