Jay Sean wants to Stay in this brave new world
Touted as the UK's answer to Ne-Yo by Touch magazine Jay Sean is back with new single Stay from his smash hit album My Own Way.

Stay is a slow-burning epic similar to the brooding comeback single Ride It, jammed with Sean’s emotive and haunting vocals allied to explosive production.

Talking about the new single Sean said: "It's a very personal song about a recent break-up.

"Everyone has break-ups and they're always hard but I wanted a really honest song about how relationships can crumble. It's almost a conversation with a girl but letting the world eavesdrop."

Stay is from Sean's self-penned hit album My Own Way recorded in London and New York and featuring the production skills of Duro and J-Remy.

Since the release of Ride It, the second single from My Own Way which hit the top ten recently, Sean's world has been turned upside down.

He said: "The news that the album is to go top ten has been brilliant and, apart from a sore head each morning, I've been meeting so many fans at in-store signings. The presents they bring me have been mental."

Lee Davis

Stay is released on July 7th.
