X Factor runners up JLS have said they are stunned by the passion of their young fanbase.
The boyband - who release their debut single Beat Again later this month - earned the support of an army of fans during their time on the ITV1 show and are about to embark on their career with the confidence of a long-established act.
Speaking to inthenews.co.uk ahead of the release of their first single, Oritse Williams said the quartet were "so grateful and overwhelmed that we're being shown love throughout the country, it's amazing".
"A lot of time acts get love in just one particular place, but from Dublin, to Glasgow, to Cardiff, to London, to Peterborough, our fans are supporting us and passionately," he added.
"We've heard they've all arranged to rush the shops when Beat Again comes out to buy loads of copies and help us get a good place in the charts - we're just so grateful and excited for that."
So popular are JLS among their teenage fanbase that their appearance at a concert in their hometown of Croydon, south London, caused a stampede in a shopping centre in which 30 fans were injured.
Oritse admitted the fanbase are fervent in their support of the band, commenting: "We're as passionate about what we do as they're passionate about us."
