Jesse Metcalfe reveals he once played the field
Jesse Metcalfe may be desperately besotted with Nadine Coyle, but it seems that he wasn't always so good at playing the faithful card.
Best known for his role as the enticing gardener in Desperate Housewives, Metcalfe has had no problems attracting female attention.
In his latest film, John Tucker Must Die, Metcalfe plays a high school heartthrob who dates three girls at once and it seems that he was able to draw on personal experience for the role.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, he said: "I've dated three girls at the same time. I've never lied about it but I'm 27 years old - I'm not 18 anymore."
Settling down with just the one woman rather than playing the field now seems to be at the forefront of Metcalfe's mind however.
Although he has said that he is not ready to get married just yet, when he does Girls Aloud singer Nadine could well be the luck lady.
"She's the kind of girl I'd like to marry in the future," he said.
Wedding bells won't be rung just yet though, as Metcalfe has said that their careers are making it impossible for the near future.
"I'm definitely not opposed to living with Nadine but right now it's not feasible. My life is in Los Angeles and hers is in London," he explained.
"Her career is at a very established place and my career is at a very critical juncture where I need to be focusing on it. So us living together isn't going to be happening any time soon."
