The Scissor Sisters have scored their first number one in the UK singles chart with their new song, I Don't Feel Like Dancing.
The comeback track by the New York disco group climbed three places to knock Justin Timberlake's latest single, Sexyback, from the top spot to number two.
Meanwhile Nelly Furtado climbed into the top three with Promiscuous, while Robbie Williams' new song Rudebox rocketed from number 30 to number four, despite being panned by critics. Shakira's hit, Hips Don't Lie, fell three places to number five in the top 40.
Paying tribute to their UK fans yesterday at the Bestival festival, Scissor Sisters guitarist Babydaddy, real name Scott Hoffman, gushed that the group loved coming over to Blighty.
"It's so amazing - the fans shower us with so much love," he told the audience at the Isle of Wight festival, where the band headlined last night.
"There is so much love it's insane," he added.
But it seems that the Scissor Sisters aren't letting their new found success go to their heads.
The chart-toppers, who were forced to slum it in a beach shack on Saturday night after arriving at Bestival a day early, chose to stay there again last night so they could remain amongst festival goers rather than move to a plush hotel, the Sun newspaper reports.
