Beyonce: Should I stay or should I go?

Beyonce ponders her travel arrangements
Pop starlet Beyonce Knowles has spent the last 24 hours wondering whether or not she should hop on a plane across the Atlantic.

The former Destiny's Child singer was due to be flying over to the UK to promote her new album, B'Day.

But the disruptions caused by the foiling of a plot to blow up fully loaded transatlantic jumbo jets has understandably left her in two minds about whether or not to make the trip this weekend.

Earlier today reports suggested that she had decided to play safe and not take to the air. A spokesperson for the singer told the Daily Star that "it was not a difficult decision to make" but one which was regrettable because she needed to promote her new single as much as possible.

Then around lunchtime new reports emerged which said that she had had a change of heart. As such it looks like she overrode her safety concerns thanks to the overwhelming urge to promote her new releases. That's commercially-minded for you.

By the way, B'Day is out on September 5th.
