Oasis' Noel Gallagher has attacked the lineup choices for the Glastonbury Festival again, while announcing a new stadium tour.

Speaking at a Wembley Stadium press conference unveiling his band's 2009 tour, Gallagher jokingly asked whether US R 'n' B star R Kelly would be performing at the legendary festival in 2009.

The guitarist's remarks follow his controversial comments earlier this year, when he criticised the booking of rapper Jay-Z to headline the Pyramid Stage.

When asked whether Oasis' 2009 concert plans would allow them to play Glastonbury, Gallagher replied: "I think [organiser] Michael Eavis will s**t himself when he sees our press release."

And when questioned why he did not plan to play the Somerset event, he quipped: "Is R Kelly playing?"

Though Gallagher, 41, was keen to play down any rift between himself and Eavis, saying he had spoken to the festival chief only six weeks ago, he added: "[The stadium tour] is where it's at."

He continued: "I've always said Glastonbury's great to be at, but not to play at. There's not enough speakers and it's too quiet."

When asked in April of his opinion of Jay-Z's headlining set, Gallagher replied: "Jay-Z? No chance."

He went on: "Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go 'Kylie Minogue?'

"I don't know about it. But I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong."

The Roc-A-Fella mogul's Friday night show at Glastonbury 2008 began with a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Oasis, as Gallagher's remarks were broadcast before Jay-Z performed a rendition of the band's classic song Wonderwall.
