Guy Chambers, the songwriter behind some of Robbie Williams' greatest hits has said that he would be willing to rekindle their partnership.
But the collaboration would be on one condition: Robbie would have to duet with Shakira.
According to the Sun newspaper, when Chambers was asked what would make him work with Robbie again, he replied: "If he ever duets with Shakira."
Chambers added: "He should always have done that. It would be the perfect match and I would like to write the tune for it. It would be a worldwide hit and would break Robbie in America."
Chambers is likely to be right with his prediction, as he has achieved success for him in the past with the songs Angels, Rock DJ and Supreme.
Shakira looks like she could be a safe bet for any popstar with their eyes on success in the States; the Latino singer was recently at number one in a number of countries with her single Hips Don't Lie, featuring Wyclef Jean.
But it may be that the distance between Chambers and Robbie Williams is too great for them to work together again, as the songwriter also told the Sun that Robbie living in Los Angeles make it "too tricky".
