Lindsay Lohan is being sued by the woman she reportedly chased before being arrested for driving under the influence last July.
Tracie Rice was in a vehicle driven by Michele Peck, the mother of the Mean Girls actress' recently-resigned assistant when Lohan pursued them in an early morning chase last year.
According to papers filed in the Los Angeles superior court in late December and obtained by the Associated Press, Ms Rice is seeking unspecified damages and payment of medical and other expenses.
She claims to have lost her £30,000-a-year job as a result of the incident and says she has spent around £3,500 on medical bills, much of which has paid for £87-visits to a therapist to cope with the residual terror caused by the chase.
In a lawsuit filed against Lohan in August for emotional distress, Ms Rice called Lohan's actions "extremely dangerous and reprehensible".
"Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening," she said.
And she is now seeking reimbursement for visits to a physician, chiropractor and pharmacist, which she alleges were caused by the incident.
Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence after the chase and served 84 minutes in jail in November 2007 following a plea deal.
Though she had been sentenced to four days in jail in August, prosecutors later agreed a ten-day stint of community service would be an adequate replacement for two days in jail.
And a further day was wiped from the sentence in lieu of her July arrest, leaving the actress just 24 hours to serve.
