Lily Allen has previewed two upcoming tracks from hew new album on MySpace.

I Don't Know and I Could Say form part of the newly-blonde singer's "new direction", she says in a blog post titled "Yagga Yo".

Neither a release date nor a title has yet been announced for the follow-up to Lily's debut number one album Alright Still.

"They are just at a demo stage so don't be too hard on them," she says in her MySpace blog.

"I'll probably swap some others around and play you stuff as I do it in the studio, like I did last time round.

"I hope you enjoy this shizzle."

I Don't Know, an upbeat Goldfrapp-esque track, includes the lyrics: "I want to be rich and I want lots of money, I don't care about clever, I don't care about funny/I want loads of clothes and f**k clothes with diamonds, I heard people die while they're trying to find them/And I'll take my clothes off and it will be shameless because everyone knows that's how you get famous/And I'll look a the sun and I'll look in the mirror, I'm on the right track and I'm on to a winner."

I Could Say is a more melodramatic take on the end of a relationship.

"You've always made it clear you hated my friends, you made my feel so guilty when I was running around with them," Lily sings.

"And everything was always about being cool, and now I come to realise there's nothing cool about you at all."
