Lady Gaga pulled out of performing as a support act for Take That on Sunday, following ill health which also caused her to cancel Saturday's gig.
The US pop star left a 50,000 strong crowd booing after it was announced she would not be performing on Saturday night, despite managing to pull off a crowd-pleasing one hour set at Glastonbury on Friday.
Fans at the Old Trafford Cricket ground on Saturday said no explanation was given, although it has since been revealed that Gaga - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - was feeling unwell.
A spokesman for the 23-year-old electro-fusion singer told the BBC: "Lady Gaga was feeling unwell on Saturday and, after consulting her doctor, the decision was reluctantly taken that she was unable to perform with Take That at Old Trafford.
"Lady Gaga is currently resting on doctor's orders, but is looking forward to rejoining Take That at Wembley next weekend."
The US songstress sent her apologies to fans and to Take That for not being able to perform.
Support act Gary Go stepped in to take Gaga's place to entertain fans for longer at the Take That gig due to her withdrawal.
