British soul singer Joss Stone is reportedly becoming something of a musical diva, with a tabloid newspaper claiming that the star has issued an 11-page list of demands ahead of her appearance at a music festival.

The Devon celebrity has told organisers of this weekend's Knowsley Hall Music Festival that she wants 12 de-thorned roses for the Liverpool gig, the Sun reports.

Also on the list are a request for the American salad dressing Miracle Whip and a reminder that the singer will only eat from china plates arranged on a table cloth, the paper claims.

The apparent list of diva-like demands does not gel easily with Stone's image as a carefree and down to earth entertainer.

Perhaps the fact that Stone is to appear at the festival alongside The Who's legendary performers Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey has gone to her head.

The 20-year-old singer reveals on her website that she thinks she is going to "have a lot of fun" at the two-day show, where The Zutons and Keane are also due to play.

However a representative for Stone has denied that the singer has been enjoying regal company of late after the Daily Mirror reported that she had struck up a close friendship with Prince William.

The prince is liaising with the star over her performance at the forthcoming concert he is organising in memory of his late mother Princess Diana.

"They talked about what songs she is going to sing at the concert and that gets translated into a story about how William has been bombarding her with calls," said Stone's spokesman Dave Woolf.
