Great Escape expands line-up

Sea Power will be playing in an inflatable cow
As well as British Sea Power playing a set in an inflatable cow, a number of other bands have been added to the Great Escape Festival.

The Brighton event takes place from May 17th to May 19th and will now include sets from the Holloways and Micah P Hinson.

T-Mobile has also announced that its 'street gigs' venture will be partnering the Great Escape event.

Toby Hester, head of sponsorship for T-Mobile, said: "Although there may be over 5,000 people attending across the three days, the gigs will take place predominately in small venues, this is similar to street gigs, but what we really want to do is surprise people.

"We will be introducing guest appearances, secret performances and exclusive sets all set in unusual locations across Brighton. We really want everyone to go away having had the best experience ever and I’m sure they will."

As well as Brighton rockers British Sea Power, the Magic Numbers will also headline one of the festival's slots.

Other confirmed acts include CSS, Willy Mason, the Rakes, Mumm-Ra, Maps and the Early Years.
