The first shower of Glastonbury 2009 has failed to dampen spirits ahead of the first unofficial gig of the festival.
Maximo Park are due on the Queen's Head Stage at 16:00 BST for an exclusive gig, meaning this year's festival effectively starts a day early.
Oxford five-some Stornoway are also set to play at the Queen's Head to give festivalgoers something to sing about before tomorrow's big kick-off.
It was early nights all round on Wednesday as tired eyes took advantage of an opportunity for sleep, but this morning saw the first shower of this year's festival.
inthenews.co.uk's Sara Beirne said the rain had not dampened anyone's spirits.
Festivalgoer Grace Li said: "Dampen my spirits, a shower? No way, it was really hot!"
"I wish I'd brought my flip-flops," added Sara.
