The Whites Stripes will be playing an arena near you
The White Stripes have announced details of an autumn UK tour which includes a show at London's O2 Arena - formally the Millennium Dome.
After playing the O2 Wireless festival at Hyde Park as well as a couple of intimate club shows earlier this year, the Detroit band will now return to the UK to tour their new album Icky Thump.
The group's sixth album entered the charts at number one when it was released on June 16th after the chart success of their single of the same name.
This tour includes some of the largest dates the White Stripes have played in the UK, having previously appeared at Alexandra Palace in the capital.
The tour will begin on October 24th at the Glasgow SECC before stopping in Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham.
Dates at Cardiff, Sheffield and Nottingham follow before the band finish at the newly refurbished London arena.
The White Stripes consist of Jack and Meg White and have earned critical acclaim throughout their career for their blues-inspired sound.
