Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole can't seem to resist mouthing off about people who annoy her.

The 24-year-old singer, who made a number of anti footballers' wives comments before she married Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole earlier this year, has recently been mouthing off about Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty.

Branding him a "junkie idiot", Cheryl told the NME: "The problem I have with him is that I've lost friends to heroin and I just don't get the idea of glorifying it. I think it's disgusting.

"There are enough drug problems going on without him being in the public eye for it and sticking needles in his arms in the press. If he kicks his habit, he'll be a lot more respected."

It's not the first time a Girls Aloud singer has expressed her views about Doherty, who recently was spared a jail sentence and fined instead for a number of arrests for drug possession.

Earlier this year Nadine Coyle questioned his musical ability, telling the Times: "He's supposed to be this musical genius, but has anyone heard his singing?"

And Kimberly Walsh added her view that: "I guess that if you like brown teeth and mouldy fingers, he's your guy."

What do you think?
