Go to Miami, Winehouse told

Sunday, 25 Nov 2007 19:55
Amy Winehouse urged to spend Christmas in Miami by husband Blake Fielder-Civil, currently in custody at Pentonville prison
Amy Winehouse has been urged by her behind bars-husband to spend the Christmas period in Miami, Florida, instead of visiting him in prison.

Blake Fielder-Civil will not be released from custody until January 18th at the earliest as he waits to answer charges of perverting the course of justice and grievous bodily harm.

According to the Sunday Mirror he has told Winehouse over the phone that since their holiday plans to India are impossible, she should spend Christmas in the American town that they were married in.

Fielder-Civil could even be stuck in Pentonville prison until June when his trial is set to begin.

Winehouse's hairdresser Alex Foden told the Sunday Mirror that the singer would probably leave the UK after celebrating Hanukkah with her parents.

"Amy told me Blake wants her to go away for Christmas to get away from it all," he revealed.

"She is not on top of the world. But speaking to Blake on the phone helps. She'll go to Miami if Blake keeps going on about it because she loves him and wants to make him happy."End of story
