The celebrity heiress is planning to visit Rwanda soon on a humanitarian trip
Hollywood star Paris Hilton has insisted that she wants to make a difference as she prepares to travel to Rwanda on a humanitarian trip.

The Simple Life star, who vowed to be a better role model after serving a prison sentence for driving with a suspended licence, told Newsweek that she wanted to "leave a mark on the world".

She also told the magazine that she felt "empty" during her days of continuous partying.

The 26-year-old star said: "Before, my life was about having fun, going to parties - it was a fantasy. But when I had time to reflect, I
felt empty inside."

Hilton added that she was apprehensive about her trip to the African nation and was hoping that cameras would document her every move in the country.

"I'm scared, yeah. I've heard it's really dangerous. I've never been on a trip like this before," she explained.

The celebrity heiress, who is currently filming Repo! The Genetic Opera, said footage of her daily life helped clear up misconceptions about her.

"I love having everything documented. It shows people what everyday life is like for me, how hard I work," she added.

The celebrity heiress also told the magazine that she was more comfortable with men as she could trust them more easily than women.
She also dismissed media speculation about her many reported love interests, saying that it was not true.

"I've been linked to so many guys, but there's nothing romantic going on at all. I get along better with guys than girls. I trust them more. They don't get all girly and mean. Girls have drama," she added.
