Big Brother 9 contestant Mohamed Mohamed has won a place in the final of the reality show after being named Head of House.
The toy demonstrator is immune from this Friday's eviction vote after he claimed the most votes when housemates were asked to vote for head of house instead of making nominations for eviction.
Mohamed, 23, received four nominations, with Kathreya Kasisopa receiving three votes. Rachel Rice, Darnell Swallow and Lisa Appleton each received two votes while Rex Newmark and Mikey Hughes each were voted for once each.
Mohamed sat in stunned silence at the news while his fellow housemates celebrated.
"It's amazing isn't it? He's guaranteed a trip to the final, it's great," said Darnell.
"It's just funny how the show's gone. You would think there was a script for this show but there isn't. It's like a movie."
After 82 days in the house, however, the tension seems to be getting to Kathreya, who later broke down in tears.
She told Rachel: "I'm so tired of Darnell, I don't even want to talk to you about it, because you are friends with both sides. I'm very sad about all this."
Rachel replied: "My advice is you need to talk to Darnell, you need to sit down and have a proper chat.
"People are just getting on top of each other in here. No one means it. Little things niggle people. It's nothing major, but in here it's a big deal.
"If he doubted you, he wouldn't be your friend - everyone shows their affection in different ways. He does love you, he cares about you."
