Fool's Gold made $22 million on its first week of release in the US

Ben Finn Finnegan (Matthew McConaughey) is a treasure hunter obsessed with uncovering a legendary royal dowry. Unrelenting in his attempts to reach this goal Ben is willing to sacrifice everything including his marriage with wife Kate Hudson.
Discovering a new clue in his search for treasure Ben works his way aboard the yacht of billionaire tycoon Nigel Honeycutt (Donald Sutherland) convincing him to help in the quest of discovery. Yet Ben soon finds that he is not the only bounty-hunter on the scent of this particular prize.
Fools Gold has already proved a hit in North America hitting no.1 in the US on its opening weekend of release. The movie is released in the UK on April 18th and, unlike its title, promises to be genuinely a thrilling action adventure.
