Angelina Jolie will make an appearance in the eagerly anticipated feature animation follow-up Sin City II.
Based on Frank Miller's noir comic book creations, and blue-screen directed by From Dusk Till Dawn's Robert Rodriguez, the follow-up film has already seen several of the original cast agree to reappear.
The heart-stoppingly stunning Jessica Alba will again take the lead as Nancy Callahan, while Michael Madsen, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson are all featuring again.
And it was one of the original cast, the beautiful Dawson, who plays hooker Gail, who revealed that the members will soon be joined by one of the most famous faces in the film world.
"The film has kind of been postponed because Robert [Rodriguez] has been interested in Angelina Jolie for the lead," she said.
"But she is very pregnant right now so that's putting an understandable hold on the film."
Currently still in pre-production, Sin City II will be based on Miller's story A Dame to Kill For, Rodriguez has said.
