We all knew it already but now it is official, Keira Knightley is the sexiest woman in the world, as deemed by FHM's hallowed top 100 list.
The British beauty and Oscar-nominated actress finished head and shoulders above her nearest rival Keeley Hazel, the voluptuous page three girl.
Approximately two million people voted for Keira to help shoot her from 18th position last year to the very top this time round.
FHM editor Ross Brown said: "FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World is growing year by year and 2006 has seen more votes than ever.
"Keira Knightley truly deserves to be the winner of our 2006 poll and she's an English Rose like no other."
American saucepot Scarlett Johansson stole the bronze medal, while Hollywood goddess Angelina Jolie and our very own Kelly Brook rounded off the top five.
Other names of note to make the upper echelons include Cheryl Tweedy of Girls Aloud and Ashley Cole stardom, who was voted in sixth place, Beyonce Knowles (7th), Evangeline Lilly (8th), Jessica Alba (9th) and Jessica Simpson (10th).
The quite literally perfect Sienna Miller was done an absolute disservice in 12th place, the heavily underrated Kara Tointon, from Dream Team and EastEnders acting hall of fame, was voted 27th, and Nicola Roberts, Tweedy's rather less-than-stunning band-mate, scraped in at number 84.
