She may have long since split up with Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise but that does not appear to have prevented Nicole Kidman from gushing over this "lovely man".
Nicole has spoken out about her feelings for her ex-husband following his recent engagement and the birth of his daughter with new love Katie Holmes.
The Moulin Rouge star told the Ladies' Home Journal that she was shocked when the couple broke up in 2000 after ten years of marriage.
Of their relationship she said: "He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, this lovely man, but to everybody else, he is huge. But he was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him."
Nicole added: "I knew I was going to get hit by something, but I think a divorce and the demise of what your family is, is a little like a death in itself."
The actress is rumoured to be planning to marry singer Keith Urban this summer.
