Keifer Sutherland has announced that a film version of his acclaimed series 24 will be filmed in London.
He made the revelations on Friday night while being interviewed on the Jonathan Ross programme.
"Were working on that (a film version), well shoot the film here," said Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer in 24.
"We're really excited about it. In the US 24 was slow to catch on, but in the UK it was big so Fox stuck with it, so thank you Britain."
Sutherland won the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series this year at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. His work on 24 has also seen him nominated for four Emmys, and take home a Golden Globe award.
The revolutionary show, which made headlines when it premiered due to it being screen in "real time" over 24 hours, is currently in its fifth series. Sutherland has signed on for another three series.
