Three men have sued actress Lindsay Lohan claiming she commandeered their car in California last year.
The men claim they were in the vehicle in July 2007 when Lohan allegedly seized control of the car and chased her recently-fired assistant.
Lohan was eventually arrested after the car chase and served just 84 minutes in prison after admitting drink and drugs charges.
The three men's allegations include battery, false imprisonment and claim the Mean Girls star was negligent when she allegedly took over the vehicle.
The actress's lawyer, Ed McPherson described the legal action as "absurd".
"They had ample opportunity to get out of the car," Mr McPherson told the Associated Press news agency.
"It's three guys who want to get a lot of headlines and want to make some money."
The men are seeking more than $25,000 (£15,300).
