Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman made an unusual entrance to the world premiere of their latest film: via a toilet.
Most stars make a glamorous appearance on the red carpet, but for the animated kids' film Flushed Away the pair arrived in casual clothes and shot down a giant inflatable toilet.
The pair voice rats Rita and Roddy in the film, which tells the tale of an uptown rat being flushed down the toilet and ending up in the sewers of London, where he learns a whole new way of life.
Speaking to the BBC, Winslet said that she decided to take on the role so that her children could appreciate one of her films; her other current film, Little Children, sees her character strip off while conducting an extramarital affair.
"I think it is the reason why we both wanted to do it, ultimately, because there is nothing else either of us have done that our kids can see for some time yet. It's an amazing feeling," she said.
Starring alongside Winslet and Jackman are Ian McKellen and Bill Nighy. Flushed Away hits UK cinema screens on December 3rd.
