Pop star Jamelia says she is hoping to land a role in the next James Bond film.
The 26-year-old, who burst onto the scene in 1999 before taking time out to have her daughter, revealed she was interested in appearing in the iconic British films as a Bond girl.
A keen fan of the films, she said she had enjoyed the latest installment in the Bond franchise as played by Bafta-nominated Daniel Craig.
"I would love to be the next Bond girl," she commented. "I've looked at three scripts and I really liked one.
"I'm going to Hollywood in May," she added.
Meanwhile, Craig may be travelling under his alter ego's name after film production firm Eon revealed the Home Office had issued a genuine passport in the name of James Bond to use as a prop.
The passport must be returned to the authorities once it is used but is said to be an authentic document.
